A DISCIPLE-MAKING ADVENTURE

Are you ready for the adventure?

Every trip has a beginning and a destination. Life with Jesus is no different. There is a beginning, a destination, and in the middle there are twists, turns, stops, sights, and memories along the way. What you hold in your hands is called, “The Map.” It is a tool created to help those interested in following Jesus in the adventure He invites us into. The person who gave you The Map wants to show you how to follow Jesus and to do this together. On the surface, The Map looks like a workbook, but it isn’t. Instead of working through it alone, you will meet with the person who invited you to go through it. Your friend will show you how he follows Jesus, and you will learn several essential things you will need for your adventure. You never know what’s around the next corner.

  • The MAP is a tool created to help those interested in following Jesus in the adventure He invites us into.

    WHY THE MAP? The goal is to prepare you with the tools and strategies of Jesus for you to reproduce His life into others. Imagine yourself as a fruit-bearing disciple. God will be glorified. Others will be blessed. You will experience joy without comparison as you learn to invest in what matters most.

  • Each week, you and your disciple-maker will meet. This meeting may be face-to-face, or online, depending on your circumstances. Your disciple-maker will lead you, using the tools in your hands (Bible, The Map, Do You Know booklet, and Now You Know card), as you follow Jesus. Together, you will look at Jesus and learn from Him how to live life as it was meant to be lived. Each week, you will apply these things and come back ready to build upon them, and share stories of what Jesus is doing in your lives. One thing we know for sure—your life, and the people Jesus will give you, will never be the same. 

  • You will meet with your friend on a weekly basis and a place of your choice. Each session takes approximately an hour. You will have the rest of the week to complete "homework" and then you will join your friend the following week. The MAP takes approximately thirty weeks to complete.

  • Anyone who is interested in following Jesus.

  • A disciple is a follower of Jesus. A disciple is a person who has three great loves—Jesus, one another, and the lost. When a disciple loves Jesus, one another, and the lost, it is seen in his priorities and actions. Disciples make disciples.
