There has never been a better time for the Church to be the Church. The leaders of Good News Church, its pastors, and elders are excited to lead the church forward in making disciples together. Because the opportunity is so great, and our conviction regarding our purpose so strong, we are embarking on a strategic planning process with a desire to become more effective in making disciples together.

The Bible teaches that, “without consultation, plans are frustrated, But with many counselors they succeed” (Proverbs 15:22). Therefore, we have asked Dr. Scott Rodin, Chief Strategy Officer of the FOCUS Group, to assist us. Dr. Rodin has over twenty years of experience in this work and we are confident he will guide us toward a great outcome.

A team made up of pastors, elders, staff, and members is working together on this project beginning this month (January 2022). These leaders will bring a variety of insights from the congregation into the process. Please pray for this team, and for the planning process. We plan to complete the process by May 2022.
